Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Caroline Allen Jones, is Sr Pastor and founder of Greater Hope Ministries Inc., a non-denominational, 501c3 ministry, located in her hometown, Gaffney SC. She is the daughter of Mother Rosa M Allen and the oldest of three siblings. Pastor Caroline has been blessed with two beautiful children, her pride and joy, daughter Roxy and son Trey, who are both active in the ministry.
Pastor Caroline A Jones preached her initial sermon, December 15, 1991. She was licensed and served under the leadership of Bishop Eugene Brooks, the late Bishop David Adams, and the late Samuel Boyd, presiding prelates of the Christian Fellowship COG. Pastor Caroline was ordained in 1998, by Bishop Lenole E Brown.
In 2007, she was installed as a pastor of the Way of Life Praise and Worship Center, where she served until the conception of Greater Hope Mins, January of 2009.
The ministry has grown both spiritually and physically, under the dedicated and integral leadership of Pastor Jones. They have purchased the former Westlane Bowling Alley, as well as the land adjacent to the building, which will be renovated as the new sanctuary of Greater Hope Ministries. Pastor Caroline believes in community outreach, as Greater Hope served the Harbor of Hope, given financial donations to Peachtree Center, and Meals on wheels, just to name a few.
Pastor Caroline was educated in the Cherokee County School District and continued her education at Spartanburg Technical College, where she majored in accounting. She has an Assoc Degree, in Bible Studies from Sparrow Springs Bible College and Seminary, Dallas NC and is currently a student at Southern New Hampshire University, pursuing a BA Degree in Social Science, with a concentration in Social Psychology.
Pastor Caroline Allen Jones, has been anointed and appointed to serve the Kingdom in such a time as this. She has a heart and a passion for the people of God.
Isaiah 61:1, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound..."
Pastor Caroline continues to her declaration ... I will bless the Lord at all times, and his praise shall continually be in my mouth (Psalm 34:1).
