YOUTH MINISTRY

Greater Hope Youth Ministry is made up of a group of young girls and boys that are hungry for the Word of God and are not ashamed to stand for Christ. This ministry is led by a team of leaders who desire to see our youth reach their full potential, while simultaneously develop and cultivate their relationship with Christ. It’s the youth ministry’s goal to help them understand that Christ is first in all things and they should always strive for excellence in ministry, deeds, talents, and gifts. We set aside the last Sunday in each month to allow our youth to operate Sunday morning service. This gives them an opportunity and freedom to showcase their individual gifts and allow them to be a part of the service. We always acknowledge our youth for their great academic standards, athletic achievements and any other special activates that they may participate in outside of the ministry. We want them to know we are proud of them and support all of their endeavors. We also have special events and activities for the youth throughout the year especially during the Summer months where there is a lot of idle time for young people. We believe it is important to keep them active so they do not fall victim to their surroundings but yet they remain rooted and grounded in Christ. The Youth are Pastor Caroline Allen-Jones’s pride and joy and she is never too busy to cater to their needs. The Word of God declares in Prov. 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. I Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye shall show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into the marvelous light.
